More often than not, our lives reflect the preconditioned, rather than what’s really in our hearts. At Sydney Romantics we believe that what defines us and connects us as human beings are the things that we love. Through the Faces of Sydney collaboration with portrait photographer Jamie Espinosa, we’re telling the stories of our city, through its people and their passions.

Acting
What drives you?
Working with super passionate people that share an equal enthusiasm for creating works that are WOKE
How do you juggle it all?
With great difficulty I assure you! I guess if you’re doing what you love you somehow make it work
Who inspires you?
Viola Davis and Donald Glover are two major powerhouses
Where do you see yourself in the future?
Hopefully making new works that aim to empower minorities. Representation is something that I care very deeply about and I think particularly in Australia there is a need to shift the way we present the dominant narrative. Inclusive storytelling benefits everyone.
What do you love about Sydney?
I think there’s a really great creative industry that’s growing, lots of young Sydneysiders are making interesting and inclusive spaces
Tell us your favourite thing to do in Sydney?
